A directory of Pubs in the UK, historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Hertfordshire . The Hertfordshire listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors. This is not an exhaustive listing, and is certainly missing a considerable amount of information. The Hertfordshire site is started by adding census & Directory listings, but considerable extra detail can be found from Petty Sessions victualler records & Recognizances, which are usually held by the local Record Office.
